My oldest cousin and his wife are over for Thanksgiving and the first thing he asked me was, “have you seen New Moon?” and I said no and asked him if he got free tickets because there’s no way he wouldve gone to see it if he didn’t. Then he asked me what team I was on and I told him neither. Then he started cheering for Team Jacob >.< Hahah that was pretty weird!

Today, I planned to go hang out with Camilo at 11, but my mom was being mean. So I was gonna my house leave my house at 1, but then she made me go with her to drop off some pancit. Finally, I left my house, went to Lawrence’s to pick up American Psycho. Then finally got to Camilo’s at 2! ended up not watching the movie. Said hi to his mom who has the car I wanted (a prius). Planned to go to Lopez Ridge to teach him how to longboard but I was scared because he’s broken his arm a lot. (loser, just kidding karma don’t break my arm) instead, went to say hi to his best friend, Alison, and coincidentally his other best friend, Mindy arrived when we did! Broke into her house through the garage. I thought it was an awkward moment since I’ve never talked to them before. Finally drove to the park! I’d have to say it was a successful longboarding lesson except for when I kicked the board and he fell backwards, but I caught him =p Then we were sitting at a pit-stoppish looking spot because there were these little kids that were racing like Nascars and while we were talking about a little girl walking by, she stopped, turned and came up to us saying, “what’s your name?” her name was Rachel and she believed that Camilo was named Bob and was my dad. Little kids xD Later, we were gonna go to Camino Ruiz Park, but then Camilo asked if I’ve ever been to Torrey Pines: the beach and I told him once I did and asked if he wanted to go. We ended up driving to Torrey Pines but there wasn’t any free parking. So we went to La Jolla Shores instead! I’m so glad that Camilo knew which ways to take because I had no idea where I was going. I was just merely controlling the car. Once we got there, we sat on the wall, talked, and stared at these scuba divers going into the water. Then we had to go because it was 3:40 and I had to get to the library at 4 for volunteering. So I dropped him off. I was late, but it was worth it [=

RECAP:

• waking up at 2:30 a.m. because of a dream that was telling me that I was late!
• looking desperately for a stapler and texting people at 3.
• going back to sleep and having an epiphany to just sew the flag =P
• finishing the sewing on the bus leading to car sickness. I think I poked myself at least 10 times.
• coolest bus driver ever
• 20 questions (playdoh is education related and platypuses are brown, not green)
• seeing all the Key Leader people!
• meeting up with the rest of the division :D (well just Serra, Point Loma, Mission Bay, Preuss, Scripps, Patrick Henry, and Kearney. I don’t remember if the other 3 schools were there)
• turquoise bandannas and white thundersticks! and a pom pom as a “hippo tail”
  
• decking out in all turquoise clothes and makeup[:
• pre-rally meet-up: singing “You Belong with Me” with the whole division
• arguing with an advisor for D28South because she was reserving a spot that we were already at for her division while ours was already there. Sorry lady, first come first serve!
• THE RALLY! d-twenty what?! D21! hungry hungry hippos! (5th place top spirited but probably one of the smallest divisions there compared to the others that placed higher & 3rd place most money raised for PTP yeeaaah $1500! 1/3 from Mira Mesa!) anddd we bought the most people during the auction! haha I don’t mean to brag, but I’m SUPER PROUD! Last year, we were next to nothing. This year we’re moving to the top!

• D28N Phoenixes from Las Vegas. Holy crap, that takes some intense organization to get 200 people to perfectly cheer a 5 minute chant in unison.
• TATSU! felt like Superman!

• thinking of new cheers for DCON “H-I-PP-O, hip, hip, hip, POS (& pose)”
• “getting low” for the divisional group picture (:
• limbo contest with the flag before going on the bus!
• losing my voice. Then regaining it :D
• hahah having Biggs get pissed because some people were late getting to the meeting area and he was about to ditch them
  
• awkward moments in the bus. Then laughing about it at some Carl’s Jr in the middle of nowhere making it more awkward when the random guy walked by.
• FINALLY HOME at 10:30!

All of this cost $40 + more.. but it was definitely PRICELESS!
